French politics, and will focus on current political
events in order to prompt discussion.

life’ French lessons per week + A general French
course ‘standard, intensive 1 or intensive 2’
Political life French course
4 French lessons per week Timetable: Tuesday to Friday*,
12.15pm to 1.00pm. Group size: 8 students maximum per
class (2 students minimum). Open to all levels Teaching content:
First and foremost, this French course is designed to
acquaint you with the main elements and characters in
French politics:
- The constitutional framework
- The workings of the political
system
- Parties
- Unions
Secondly, the course will focus on the current political
events in order to prompt discussion.
Materials used in class are essentially authentic documents
such as articles from the press, T.V or radio news...
General French course
You have a the choice of 3

Standard French
course :
20 French lessons / week Timetable: Monday to Friday 8.45
am to 12 noon Group size : 12 students maximum Open to all levels Teaching content :
- Acquisition of essential
French grammar skills and competency in practical
communication.
- Work on oral and written
expression and comprehension.
- Use of varied tools: comic
strips, newspaper articles, video…
Intensive French course
1 : Standard course + 10 French lessons
/ week Timetable: Tuesday to Friday 1.45
pm to 3.40 pm Group size: 6 students maximum Open to all levels Teaching content :
- Learning activities that
prompt the need to speak French and provide a cultural
insight into France, Provence and/or the French Côte
d’Azur (learn to speak French in everyday situations,
research surveys in town (Antibes or Nice), conversational
exercises based on authentic documents).
- Practical French exercises
to improve oral expression and pronunciation.
One French lesson = 45 minutes
* There are no French lessons on public
holidays. Lessons are neither replaced nor reimbursed
