your French language, you carry
out a work placement covering different areas of
the world of tourism: travel agencies,
the hotel business, catering etc

Program content :
Week 1 : 26 general French lessons + 3 "French
and tourism" workshops
General French course
26 general French lessons in a multinational class
of your level.
Timetable : Monday to Friday -
9.00 am to 1.00 pm
Group size : 14 students maximum
Teaching content :
- Learning to listen and
understand, written and oral expression, phonetic
corrections, grammar
revising, speaking, role-play games, etc.
- Encouraging awareness
of French culture and acquisition of related idiomatic
expressions.

workshops
3 “French and Tourism“ workshops ( total
of 9 hours)
Timetable : Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday – 14.15 pm to 17.15 pm
Group size : 14 students maximum
Teaching Content :
1- Tourism
Learn about France and Paris.
Learn to use French in the following situations: to
ask a supplier for information, to reply to a client, to
organise tourist trips, to help a client choose his
stay, to make a reservation and then to change or
cancel it, etc.
2- Hotel business
Presentation of the hotel industry in France.
Learn to use French in the following situations:
to welcome a client, to explain reservation conditions,
to explain forms of payment, to redirect a letter
or an email, to create a short document of information.
3- Catering
Presentation of jobs in catering,
in gastronomy and in French wine.
Learn to use French in the following situations:
to welcome a client, to take on an order, to propose
personalised menus, to explain specialities and
regional varieties, to resolve disputes.
Week 2 : A work
placement in a French company
